Show Up For Your Community
Volunteering at Chosen Home is not just charity work. It's showing up alongside your neighbors with open eyes and steady hands.
Why Volunteer With Us
Chosen Home runs on people who believe that compassion should not come with conditions. Our volunteers are essential to everything we do, from distributing naloxone kits to sitting with someone who just needs to be heard. This work is real, sometimes hard, and always meaningful.
We provide training, support, and a team that has your back. You do not need prior experience in harm reduction. You need to be willing to learn, show up consistently, and treat every person who walks through our door with dignity.

Questions About Volunteering
Do I need experience in harm reduction?
No. We provide all the training you need. What matters is showing up with an open mind and treating everyone with dignity.
How much time do I need to commit?
We work with your schedule. Most volunteers contribute a few hours per week, but we appreciate whatever time you can give consistently.
Is there a background check?
We do not require background checks for general volunteer roles. We believe in second chances and understand that a criminal record does not define a person's capacity to serve their community.
